The challenge

How can organisations fund and sustain the work that matters?

NGOs, community-based organisations (CBOs) and other social impact organisations face the challenge of sustaining their work in a changing funding landscape.

What possibilities might emerge if we looked beyond familiar approaches and brought different perspectives to the problem?

At this Open House, we’ll explore this question through two challenges, a diverse panel and the House of Genius experience.

Two challenges. Different perspectives.

An organisation’s funding challenge

An organisation brings a real challenge around funding and sustaining its impact work to a panel of people with different backgrounds and expertise.

The New Ground programme

House of Genius Kenya and Change a Life Initiative bring their emerging programme concept to the panel for feedback and fresh perspectives.

Expect thoughtful questions, unexpected insights and possibilities the presenters may not have considered.

Introducing New Ground

New Ground is a programme being co-created by House of Genius Kenya and Change a Life Initiative to help NGOs, CBOs and other social impact organisations explore new ways to fund and sustain their work.

The programme combines the House of Genius experience, bringing diverse perspectives to important challenges, with Change a Life Initiative’s expertise and technical assistance approach to help organisations identify and pursue practical ways to strengthen their sustainability.

The Open House is an opportunity to help shape the programme as it develops. Your ticket contributes to its development.
