1. Definitions
“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to House of Genius Kenya.
“Attendee,” “you,” or “your” refers to the individual or organization registering for or participating in the Event.
“Event” means House Genius Kenya Events, including all sessions, workshops, networking opportunities, and related activities.
2. Registration and Attendance
Attendance at the Event requires valid registration and payment (where applicable).
Invitations are non-transferable unless explicitly permitted by House of Genius Kenya.
3. Participation and Conduct
Attendees agree to participate in the Event respectfully and in a way that contributes positively to the community. Disruptive, unlawful, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the Event.
4. Intellectual Property
All Event content (including presentations, materials, recordings, and branding) remains the property of House of Genius Kenya or its speakers, unless otherwise noted.
Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use Event content without prior written permission.
Personal note-taking and limited social media sharing are encouraged, provided they respect speaker and attendee privacy.
5. Media Release
By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. House of Genius Kenya may use this media for promotional, educational, or other business purposes, unless you notify us in writing before the Event.
6. Confidentiality
While House of Genius Kenya fosters open discussion, we encourage attendees to respect the confidentiality of sensitive information shared during sessions or networking. Any obligation to maintain confidentiality rests with each individual participant.
7. Liability
Attendance at the Event is at your own risk.
House of Genius Kenya is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the Event.
Our total liability is limited to the ticket fee paid by the Attendee.
8. Event Changes and Cancellation
We reserve the right to make changes to the Event program, speakers, venue, or schedule. In the unlikely event of cancellation, our liability is limited to refunding ticket fees paid.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any disputes will be resolved in Kenyan courts.
